Wood and Glass

Friday, January 7, 2011

Ever since the summer of '86, I've been dreaming of this house.... Cameron's house. I know they say those who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones, but imagine the transparency and clarity in your life if this is what you live in. You would begin every day with the reminder of nature, but the comfort of home. You could bathe yourself in the light that comes through the windows, and then cuddle up in the blanket of darkness at night.

Think of how inspired your life would be if you lived here.

"I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately, to front only the essential facts of life, and see if I could not learn what it had to teach, and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived. I did not wish to live what was not life, living is so dear; nor did I wish to practise resignation, unless it was quite necessary. I wanted to live deep and suck out all the marrow of life..."
-Henry David Thoreau
