My Style: Straight Chillin'

Tuesday, February 5, 2013

It's not always about labels or being flashy. A great outfit can be simple and a little boyish but still be fabulous. Although this look was created by a stylist, it's exactly what I'd wear.

The Look
Jacket: Stylist's own (similar)
Jeans: Levi's
Skull Cap: Borrowed from Photographer (similar)
Sunglasses: AJ Morgan "Outer Limits"

This is for those chilly mornings when you just want to grab a cup of coffee but you're not caring what you put on. Or those cloudy days when you just want to blend into the grey skies. Subtle details like studded shoulders on a double-breasted jacket paired with vintage-like white frames can really make a statement.

I like to think of this look as Model Liberation goes starboard side even though it was shot on a rooftop in the middle of the city. It's so relaxed, but I'm still taking command of this style. Oh Captain, my Captain!
