Introducing: The Gold Sparrow

Friday, March 8, 2013

Years in the making, but the moment is finally upon us. Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness! The anticipation is killing me. Making its world premiere at the South by Southwest Film Festival, I present to you The Gold Sparrow.

This project has been a labor of love for the cast and crew involved. Directed by Daniel Stessen with cinemaphotography by Sam Gezari, the film was shot live-action and then animated frame-by-frame. Do you know how long that takes?! The end result is something like a moving graphic novel with a fantastic soundtrack by the Brothers Lit. Check out the trailer...

It blows my mind everytime. This is my first role as a super villain, and I think it's pretty freaking awesome! Guys, I'm a little nervous. The festival will be the very first time that I see the finished project. If you're in Austin for SXSW, please come see The Gold Sparrow. This is independent artistry at its best.
